Many companies would visit you at home, take your will instructions and then post to you the completed will. What we do different is:

A professional yet friendly, down to earth Will writer visits you at your home to consult with you and direct you through the stages of making a Will. We provide guidance on how your Will needs to be produced to ensure it is effective, legal and stands up to any challenge. This ensures that your directions on the distribution of your estate and any gifts that you wish to make are fulfilled.

We will determine if any other matters may affect you and if necessary provide understandable, jargon-free solutions to the complex issues of:

• Inheritance tax planning.
• Protecting your home in the event of long term care costs.
• Guardianship arrangements – who would care for your young children.
• Trust planning – the benefits of placing property or assets into trusts.
• Lasting Power of Attorney – who looks after your finances when you can’t?
• Asset ownership - whether property and assets are better owned jointly or singly.
• Executor duties - helping your Executor with the responsibility of dealing with your estate

From the information that we collect at our consultation we produce and send to you a Draft Will. This gives time to consider, check and reflect upon the content of the will and our meeting. If there are any changes that you require then we will make amendments and send you a revised draft Will. We will continue to do this until you are 100% happy with the Will.

Once you are completely happy with your Will, we will deliver the final version and assist with the signing and witnessing. Wills can fail if this vital part is not done accurately; we will be there to ensure this is done correctly.

Charges

Wills: £215 for a single person. £285 for married couples and partners.

Other Services Available

Lasting Power of Attorney: £250 for a single person, £400 for married couples and partners (excludes registration).
Severance of Tenancy: £125 per registered property.
Trusts Planning: £175 per trust per couple/person.
Executor Service: Single: £120 lifetime. Couples and partners: £165 lifetime.
